As a global leader in technology and digital services, this client is known for delivering personalized experiences to its massive user base worldwide. With billions of users, they focus on ensuring the accuracy, relevance, and quality of content across numerous languages and regions.

The client needed rapid, high-quality support for its digital advertising services and partnered with the Welo Data team to meet this demand. The objective was to recruit and train at least one SER for each of the following languages: Dutch, French, Spanish, Portuguese, German, and Italian— within just two weeks. These experts would undergo a thorough training process to ensure they met the client’s exacting standards, specifically reaching a minimum accuracy rate of 85%. 

Given the fast-paced nature of digital advertising and the need for high-level localization expertise, the client required SERs to rapidly assess and qualify ad quality while maintaining exceptional cultural and linguistic fluency. The challenge was clear: recruit, onboard, and train qualified candidates to hit the ground running within a narrow window of time. 

To meet the client’s needs, Welo Data designed a rigorous two-week ramp program with two distinct phases: 

Phase 1: Recruitment and Team Building (Week 1) 

The first week was dedicated to identifying and filtering suitable candidates from a pool of thousands.

Once the team was built, the second week was dedicated to ensuring the selected candidates were properly trained and ready for production.

The rapid pace of the project posed several challenges: 

  1. Accelerated Recruitment Timeline: Completing over 22 hours of interviews in a single week required significant resource allocation and coordination. However, our structured process ensured that the right candidates were selected efficiently. 
  1. Time Zone Coordination: With teams across three time zones, scheduling live training sessions required flexibility from trainers and participants. We ensured consistent communication and structured Q&A sessions to address any knowledge gaps. 
  1. Scope Adjustments: The project’s scope evolved multiple times during execution, demanding quick adjustments. Our team worked closely with the client to maintain alignment and ensure the program met all evolving requirements. 

Despite the compressed timeline, the program was a success. By the end of the two-week period, we had successfully trained at least one Senior Expert Rater in each target language, ready to begin production work immediately. The program’s key achievements included:
