Details
Siobhan is Senior Vice President and General Manager of Welo Data by Welocalize. She has 25 years of experience in Linguistics and AI data, including founder and leadership roles at Lionbridge AI and Telus AI. She leads the business and its strategy, focusing on research and meaningful change in AI through elevating Welo Data’s foundational principles of ethical sourcing, agile production, and superior human data solutions to power superior model performance. Siobhan holds a Literature and Linguistics degree from Queen’s University.
MK Blake
Details
MK Blake is the Vice President of Global Operations & Quality at Welo Data, with over 10 years of operational experience in data labeling, NLP, and AI training. Her journey began as a rater for search relevance, developing a deep understanding of how human expertise drives exceptional operational teams and influences AI development. With extensive experience managing human data for enterprise LLM development and developing global machine learning workflows and operational processes, she brings invaluable expertise to her role. MK holds dual Bachelor’s degrees in Information Design and Business Administration from Carnegie Mellon University, with postgraduate studies in Law from Georgetown University, using her diverse background to champion the human element in AI data solutions.
Fernando Migone
VP of Research & Innovation
Details
Fernando Migone is the Vice President of Research & Innovation at Welo Data, with extensive experience in data labeling and collection gained from roles in both sales and operations within the industry. At Welo Data, Fernando focuses on enhancing the value delivered to clients through quality improvement initiatives and leads Welo Data Research Labs, where new data science, data quality, and linguistics initiatives and products are incubated. He holds a PhD in Reproductive Physiology and Biomedical Engineering from Cornell University, using his expertise to drive innovation and transformation across the company.

Tally is Head of Product at Welo Data, bringing nearly a decade of experience across the AI and data space spanning Linguistic Consulting, Program Management, Business Operations, and Solutions. Tally holds a PhD in Theoretical Linguistics with a Semantics specialization from The Graduate Center, CUNY, an academic foundation that directly informs Welo Data’s taxonomy and semantic parsing work. A broad definition of customer empathy drives every product decision Tally makes, one that extends equally to clients, internal stakeholders, and the workers at the heart of every project.
Rachel Pena
Marketing Director

Rachel Pena is Director of Marketing at Welo Data, a growth and product marketing leader specializing in translating complex AI solutions into compelling narratives that drive visibility, demand, and revenue. Her work spans category positioning, go-to-market strategy, content systems, SEO, and cross-functional product alignment. Rachel holds a Master’s degree in Marketing and partners closely with product, sales, and leadership to bring new initiatives to market with clarity and impact.
Mike Leggett
Head of Talent

Mike Leggett leads Welo Data’s global Talent organization, overseeing sourcing, vetting, and community experience. He brings over a decade of leadership experience in talent acquisition, having scaled AI-focused companies including Invisible, Outreach, and Artisan. With both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Florida, Mike blends a technical background with deep expertise in building data-driven, results-oriented talent operations.
Prior to Welo Data, he helped scale the global AI Data Training function at Invisible, balancing the demands of hiring for growth with identifying top talent for highly specialized technical roles. At Welo Data, he is focused on creating a streamlined, high-performing talent infrastructure that ensures consistency, predictability, and quality delivery for enterprise AI.
